In 2011, our journey began with a heartfelt mission. Our founder, a researcher at UPenn, designed a pair of colorblind glasses for his best friend, who had long struggled with color deficiency. Witnessing the joy and wonder of seeing color for the first time was a life-changing moment—one that sparked the creation of Pilestone.

What started as a simple act of friendship has now grown into a global movement. With branches around the world, we've helped over 40,000 people experience the beauty of color.
